Our Online Chinese Characters Course is a structured and progressive programme for children aged 4–11, based on Play Mandarin's original five-term curriculum. Divided into three levels—Beginner, Explorer, and Challenge—the course helps children build strong reading and character recognition skills step by step.
Through interactive online lessons, games, stories, and visual learning, children learn to recognise, understand, and gradually write Chinese characters in a fun and engaging way. We offer both Traditional and Simplified Chinese tracks, with personalised worksheets to support learning at home.
Upon completing the programme, students can continue to Jinbu 1 & 2, providing a structured pathway towards formal qualifications such as GCSE Mandarin.
